The main activity goal: development and perfection of an understanding of the ideas of humanism, non-violence, and responsibility in the modern society.

Aspiration for reaching this goal has found its reflection in the name of the center, AHALAR, which is an abbreviation of three different words:

AH – AHIMSA – translated from the ancient Indian language means non-violence
AL – ALTRUISM – translated from Latin means unselfish, disinterested help offered to others
AR – ARIUM – translated from Protoslavic language means respect and purity.

Uniting in our title the words from different cultures and different centuries, we sought to emphasize that humanism, unselfish help, and work for the good of others are in the nature of people from all the cultures, races and times, and that these characteristics have always been valued highly.
Now, when the level of violence and social tension grows, we believe (building our faith on personal experience) that the development of humanism, mutual aid, and the feeling of responsibility for one’s own fortune can help to resolve the problems of the present day.

We incline to solve the problems not through the political change, but through the moral perfection of people, by teaching them the new non-violent thinking and behavior models. Modification of the motivation, formation of the preparedness for the self-organization, unification, creativity, and healing is the core of the educational programs offered by the Center.
